Help please,

I want my PC to dual boot so that I can choose which OS to use (win98 or win2k).

Please read all of this before deciding: 1. The new drive is formatted as NTFS which came out AFTER Win98, so that's why win98 doesn't recognize it - it's...

Win98 was installed on a single hard drive (with no master or slave connected). Win2k was installed on new master with slave drive (being the previous win98 installation) connected. So, I currently have both installed on separate hard drives but can only run the win2k of course.

When win2k is set as master (c:) and I run windows, I can see the slave showing up as d: with all the win98 files on it which is what I would expect. When I switch the drives around with win98 as master, and win2k set to slave, there is no d: showing up at all in explorer when I thought I should see d: with win2k files on it.

I have checked and rechecked all jumper settings on hard drives and they are correct.

under "#3: Add a disk containing XP-2K to a computer with Win9x installed" but when I reboot as per detail 3., I cannot see this win2k slave drive showing up at all.

If anyone can offer an explaination as to why this drive is not showing up or has another way to set up dual boot please let me know!

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance KG
