Daniel Corby, CEO and founder and 118 Group, the multi million £ business based in Eslove, has announced plans to double the size of the Indian call centre operation that is based in Salt Lake City, Calcutta.
The business continues to deliver high growth from the call centre and sales operations in the UK, yet is now aiming to double the size of the Indian call centre which operates around the clock, as inbound directory services and back office support for the UK operation.

Daniel has recently conducted a full review of the groups operations and hot on the heels of the announcement of the acquisiton of Car Auto, which will operate as a web portal for the used car business and the opening of a new 400 seat call centre in Chelmsford, has now announced plans to double the size of the Indian business.
Daniel Corby added, "I have had a key member of my Management team in India for the last 4 weeks and am completely confident that we can ramp the operation up out there to deliver the results that we need. The Management on the ground in India is great, the technology is in place, and we have now secured additional office space in a state of the art complex in hi tech Salt Lake City. We plan to create some back office roles in India to support the UK business and also roll out the Car Auto business in India too. This is not about relocating jobs from the UK to India, this is about creating additional jobs in India to help grow and support the operation that is based in the UK.
