Your facts are correct but they don't necessarily justify your question. Here are some unanswered factors I wrestle with. Do we permit business to simply blow off the burdens of our labor laws, soc. sec., tax withholding, et al while holding the other side of the equation (labor) to groan under that whole horrible load? Is it right and proper that our lawmakers permit this mbuttive escape clause for corporations while leaving wage earning citizens shackled to the expensive overhead they have created by their own legislation? Are corporations enbreastled to all the protections of our civil defense, army, bankruptcy relief, legal system, infrastructure with no return obligation whatsoever to the general US citizen who shares the cost for these? Are US citizens still to have their pockets picked to pay foriegn aid to the very countries benefiting from the jobs they lose? Does our gov. exist to buttist Big Corp. USA in it's quest for profitability in a changing economy while Mr. x$-hr is expected to tough it out? Inquiring minds want to know! Thomas Bartkus
