America's Got Talent, But Not Enough In Tech Fields 1697Anonymous They fire workers in US to hire on India, and blame the firing in US on .... shortage. The corporate hypocrisy is boundless. Unisys cutting 1,900 more jobs ReceivedSPF: None receiver=nym.alias.net clientip=83.103.22.38 helo=remailer.cyberiade.it Comments: This Posted on Thu, Jul. 20, 2006 Unisys cutting 1,900 more jobs buttociated Press Unisys Corp. yesterday said it was... But they never considered in their chicken brain to employ some engineers without experience into that field and provide them training. Every experienced engineer was at a time freshmans too. But this is clbuttical corporate America hypocrisy: Loot the training opportunities from workers then complain of shortage to manipulate the market by political lobby. If they would been paying enough to attract people they would have them. Remember supply and demand ? But the corporate greed prompted to cap the rise in salaries just to pump tones of unearned money into CEOs and rich shareholders accounts. Then they ask: "Why people are not interested in engineering anymore" ? Sure, blame it on universities SOB. It is students fault, it is universities fault, it is parents fault, it is teachers fault, it is workers fault BUT NEVER corporations fault. Are this guys retarded enough to believe that they can find anyone to believe their trash ? Just double the pay and you are going to see how students flock to the universities that today are "simply aren't attracting and graduating enough students". America's Got Talent, But Not Enough In Tech Fields 1698 Anonymous What a pile of trash. It is really amazing how people like Christopher Scinta Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES or other underquality journalists from underquality papers are willing... Again. Idiotic corporatism expect smart engineers and scientists to kiss their rich buttes for peanuts. One guy smart enough to get a degree in engineering is much more than smart enough to get an MBA or a law degree. If you don't pay enough to attract smart people, they flock elsewhere. If you want them to stay on rigs for weeks in harsh condition far away from their families and putting their life at risk, then pay them accordingly. And they will flock to oil industry. But as usual, they try to get employees into accepting lower salaries to pay billions to CEOs and shareholders, then they complain about ........ shortages. Talk is cheap. But ask him to put the money where his mouth is. Oooooooppps, he don't want to do that. He wants ONLY to increase the shareholders slice and cut workers wages. Because they are difficult people expect to be payed accordingly. But the CEOs and shareholders want only to increase their unearned proffits and pay nothing to valuable people. Then they complain about shortages and move jobs offshore. They fire in US because .... here is shortage :-) What about paying more to their engineers to attract students toward the field ?
