I just hope they don't manufacture another disaster in the next couple of years in order to justify somehow extending their stay in office. While most people think this cannot be done under current USA laws, corrupt men often find a way. I think everybody is hoping that the GWB administration is not that insane.

Iran and North Korea are more legitimate threats Kamal, and you know that. Iraq was just a training grown for american troops that will no doubt be called on to be "boots on the ground" (as the americans say) when the time comes to go in and clean up Korea and Iran. A war with Iran or North Korea will not be the cake walk that Iraq was, and the military planners know that. Iraq was a fiasco and was mostly about oil, but not only about oil.

The China issue is an entirely different thread and a much more serious and immediate problem. The question is if China starts to flex it's muscle and show its imperialistic intent, what side will India stand on?

The IT debate has nothing to do with the self-righteous political views of the right wing. Who do you think is leading the rush to India? The right is supported by the money barons and industrialists that are using politics to make profit. Surely you are smart enough to see through that veil.

North Korea is not a country. It is a big cult within the borders of a former nation state. Iran is not much better, and some would argue China is behaving the same way. At least India has some understanding of democracy, however look at how the religious elements make peace a risk with your country and Pakistan on the edge. It is proof that religious and fanatical governments without democratic restraints cannot be trusted and must be removed.

Making them strong, but at the price of principle and freedom is actually making them weak. I think a lot of Americans would agree with that fact. American society is more divided now then during the Cold War, and that is not a good thing.

Not true. American is not in danger of direct invasion, but it is in danger of economic collapse, strife, and outright attacks on its citizens by terror fanatics.
