Back in 1996-97, when Indians were coming to US on H1 in large numbers, I have read postings in Usenet about how competing with them for jobs here is not on a level playing field. One person in San Jose Mercury news wrote this "Indians have no life in US. FOr them Work is life. They are willing to put 12 hours a day for months together. If my project has lot of Indians, then I will look bad if I can't keep up with them in number of hours worked". Yeah right, level playing field.
