The property owner couldn't care less whether the renter-buyer is black of white -just that he can strike a good deal. That aisde, I meant non-discriminatory in that while society may have pre-conceived notions and taboos, market forces don't. A white manager may prefer either white or americanized people, but if he doesn't hire the most productive worker -it will come back to haunt him in the form of better products in the marketplace.

When I started working in 1992, $100-month was a great salary. Today -the salary ranges from $500-$1000-month for a fresh grad. Jobs aren't exported and Lou is nothing more than an urban legend. If it costs less to get a job done in India, it makes sense for the shareholder-ower to get it done there. They move their money to where they get the best value for their money -like you go shopping and buy where you get the best deal. Does that mean dept store X exported a product to dept store Y? Products have a physical form and services don't. But they both provide a value for money.

There is a backlash when common people lose something and there is celebration when common people gain something from a corporation moving in-out of their neighborhood. Look at it from the legal perspective. Or just ask yourself -how many industries stopped their movement to cheaper locales because of backlash? The answer is none -because it can't be legislated.
