As usual, you don't have ANYTHING to back this claim. You can not provide ANY SINGLE evidence for that. Keep in mind that IBM published his PC specification just to avoid a gov. intervention as in AT&T case. As of that moment, IBM was near a monopoly out of pure greed. It was threatened for that and in order to avoid an anbreastrust investigation they decided to be open.

But as usually, pathological libertarian greed must be supported even if you have to recite propaganda slogans which are just lies. So here we go:

Again, it was not greed but fear of government doing that. Once gov. eased its hand, this allowed Microsoft to become a monopoly.
Just think about how many compebreastors Microsoft destroy just to achieve his near monopoly (93% of the desktop). All these were done by unfair practices. A lot of compebreastion eliminated by anticompebreastive predatory business practices.
But of course, since gov. it is require to punish a violator, it is better to allow monopolies just because .... gov. is bad :-)
