Well, this was the "For Alex, a quiz" and definitely had some extra confusion thrown in, deliberately, to be consistent with the "what goes around comes around" pattern that exists in real life around the world....

Didn't you ever read any legal documents? Or do you just sign whatever gets slid accross the desk for you to sign?

A combination of above can involve any subset, including just the best answer (which, as I've explained before is not necessarily the correct answer because all of the answers I gave have shortcomings I'll admit this, and even explain them if you want').

Scoreboard: Alex gets no demerits for excercising his option to not answer the question even though he did answer the question. Appeals procedure to determine if the rules (logic, Alex, logic) originally set up were improper.

Its a widely understood factor (and mentioned often in many articles I've read that "friendships", personal-loveual-quid-pro-quo-bloodrelationships have conflic of interest issues).

Changing the subject rather than acknowledging that a personal relationship, whatever that may be, may influence business decisions to the detriment of business. Favoritism, nepotism, and other -isms are all factors that interfere with merit, competance, performance, etc.
