INDIA HAS NO EQUIVALENT TO THE H-1B VISA. INDIA HAS NO EQUIVALENT TO THE L-1 VISA. INDIA DOESN'T ISSUE TEMPORARY GUEST-WORKER VISAS FOR TECHIES
What this means that even if you want to do programming or engineering in one of India's sweatshops you can't. It's that simple!.
Here is what India does have:
INDIA HAS A 6 MONTHS BUSINESS VISA TO ALLOW AMERICANS INTO THEIR COUNTRY TO MAINTAIN AND SUPPORT COMPANIES THAT ARE OUTSOURCING JOBS FROM THE U.S.
I don't know why I have to repeat this so often and why so many people cannot accept the fact that when it comes to immigration India is just smarter than us. It's just a fact. I don't make the laws in India, but I do have a phone and I can read. I called the U.S. Consulate in San Francisco and asked them, and any of you can do the same if you don't believe their website. Call them so that they can repeat what I just told you!
