Possibly yes, because people are starting to wake up and see that everything that was promissed was just a lie. And while sleeping, the CEOs, rich shareholders and radical right wingers politicians looted their house, robbed them of all the wealth and now the criminals are blaming the people itself for that.

Globalization does huge potential to make the world better if applied correctly. But to do that, the "free market" and "multinational corporations" are not the answer.

What large corporations do, is to take advantage of globalization and destroy the US economy into the process called "RIP & RUN economics", or in Republican translation "supply-side economics" or in Libertarian translation "small government". Well, regardless how is called the result is the same: the government step away not to interfere with the looting spree that large corporations and rich traders perform on middle and working clbutt. If possible the gov. actually is accomplice to the crime by voting legislations making bankruptcy protection harder and harder, so the victim is going to be immobilized by law while the robbery take place.

Of course, small domestic companies are being hurt by globalization too and from here the disconnect. Large multinationals able to start an offshore operation take the market from small businesses sending them in bankruptcy. Also, small businesses are indirectly hurt by tax cuts.

If one million of low income workers lose their 1000-yr Medicaid they have to reduce their spending to cover for care. They have to do that from the same amount of money as before, since the tax cuts for poor workers are only few cents, which are not be reimbursed. The small business owner lose the money this customers used to spend in their shops.

If the billion they took away from the poor is given as gift to 100 superrich in tax cuts, this guys won't spend them in the shops that lost business from the poor. They already can afford everything they needed so they will invest that money. Where ? Well, any investor eye the biggest return of investment by producing the same with lower labor costs. The answer is then China or India. By opening new facilities there, they put more pressure on US wages, forcing more and more people in poverty.

That is: Globalization + Tax Cuts = Poverty in America Globalization + Tax Cuts = Destruction of US economy Globalization + Tax Cuts = Disaster
