Can you explain it to the idiots around me that the fountain of wealth to provide americans with all good things doesn't exist -and that money != wealth? Im tired of trying to convince them that their citizenship doesn''t enbreastle them to a job -but their productivity might or that the rest of the world is not a parasite on them by loaning them trade-able goods-services for US dollar bills. It costs nothing to print USD and printing more of it doesn't generate more trade-able goods-services -just a means to transact in wealth.

they could be highly successful -but it doesn't put an end to all disruptive forces. Global warming could trigger natural calamities and an asteroid could come crashing from above -or an earthquake from below could strike - on one of your larger cities - triggering an apocalypse worse than what Cheney has hypothesized.
