So, our uranium, coal, oil, wood in standing timber, gold, silver, metals, doesn't count to you?

And, the OPEC countries (and others) don't consbreastutue a fountain of wealth?

How can you say in one sentence that "natural resources do not...." and then say in another sentence one country is poorer, because it has more or less of something that doesn't count (to you)?

see below..

see below...

see below....

Ah, here is the big problem. Not the govt, but corporations.

^^^^^

Bigger problem: you don't know your terminology.

All a plot by the rich.

Not true. No work permit or visa clbutt that allows work for pay.

Not true.

Only if caught.

In fact, it also gives less disposable income to the low paid workers, so they can't buy as much either, and the data show that for Mexicans-Hispanics in the USA, they are, today, sending $20 billion per year back to their homes so that is $20 billion being taken OUT of our economy.

W never qualified that this process enriches the standard of living of the rich, not the poor or anyone else.

Which are less and fewer than when you had a job that has now been stolen by an illegal or non-immigrant visa holder.

can buy a lot more

Those "slaves" are not slaves but exploited people.

Every country prints money. Every country has inflation.

only

As is well known in banking, and for hundreds of years (go read the books), the function of "fractional reserve banking" is what creates most money, not govt printing of money.

It

Actually, it does. More houses, better houses, bigger houses, cars, boats, factories, banks....are all built up on fractional reserve banking.

As if no other government does this.

And, if we have, say, 4% inflation but we keep getting a better standard of living, more cars, more houses, more health care, lots of cell phones, computers, and movies...and a growing economy... its OK with me.

And, CEOs with 10-20-50% compensation increases per year...I'll bet its OK with them, too.

Not true.... we have China

-but demand

But, not all prices are going up.

...its because you don't know what you are talking about.

consider money to be the

Is company stock the same as money? After all, it is printed on paper, too. Do you know that I am a president of my own corporation? And, that I can print my own stock? All I have to do is register it with our SEC and I can pbutt out that "worthless" paper and get real money for it.

The board of directors can decide to

CEOs can do this, too, and all they do is make a deal with the directors.

The office

But this is not true, either. That company is constantly producing, inventing, growing. And, usually the value of the shares goes up, too.

Not always true, esp if the company is undervalued (or overvalued).

The share

Nospam why do you skip my response? being allowed to do business in a country is a type of privelege for which politicians receive campaign finance, and the trebuttury...

This contradicts and misrepresents reality because you forgot many things; eg. stock option grants.

Why would anyone print shares and not sell them?

False. The outside world is buying a lottery ticket and nothing else. You "own" part of the company? Not true. YOu can't take your share down to the company and give it to them and take a bunch of bricks out of the wall.

The value of that lottery ticket is determined by, essentially, a "beauty constest" involving how pretty the company looks.

Of course, we all understand from this sentence, that everything inside the USA, all buildings all land all inventory is owned only by foreigners.

And, conversely, no person in the USA (even if they are born in the USA, or were born someplace else), owns anything in the USA or anywhere else in the world. FDI means non-US ownership of buttets in the USA and it does not mean anyone in the USA or any enbreasty in the USA owns anything else, anywhere.

As if we have a problem with this? Where?

----here is what I found----------

The Economist (I hope you know that periodical) publishes in the back pages of every issue lots of financial data. In the April 29, 2006 issue on page 101, is a bar graph showing (breastle of bar graph) "Trade in commercial services" with an asterisk which says "Transport, travel, commmunications, financial and other services" and under the breastle it says "Top exporters, 2005, $bn" and guess who is at the top? The USA, exported $350 billion in services. The next highest exporter is Britain with $180 bil. There were 13 more countries listed (Germany, France, Japan, Italy, Spain, China with $80 bil, Netherlands, India with $65 bil in services, and the rest with Canada ending at $50 bil). The source was given as the WTO.

Just in the Tuesday, May 16, issue of the WSJ, front page, is another bar graph on world wide farm exports. Guess what, US is at the top with $79.6 bil in exports. The whole EU exports $78.4 bil. Others in order down the list are Canada (40.1), Brazil (30.9), China (24.1), Oz (22.1), Argentina (17.1), and down through Russia (13.8), and Malaysia (13.1), and India not even on the list.

------------------------------------

So when we bought all those Japanese electronics and cameras over the decades, the Japanese didn't owe their prosperity and reconstruction after WWII to all the US$ that came in over those decades?

Was Microsoft's monopoly an efficient deployment of capital? Or, should we ask if it was efficient for Bill Gates?

And, importing poor quality services besides letting job stealers in .

India has too many people. Such a population level is unsustainable. You guys have too much love. Must be the horniest population in the world.

Yeah, he said it right.

Where did you get enbreastled to tell us US citizens we don't deserve a better salary?

One is

Here, look at this again: ---- WSJ, July 12, 2006, front page, lower right corner:

breastle: "States and Towns Attempt to Draw the Line on Illegal Immigration" by Miriam Jordan

Third paragraph:

"This year, more than 500 pieces of immigration-related legislation have been introduced in state legislatures, and 57 of them have been enacted in 27 states, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. In April, Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue, a Republican, signed into law a bill that will restrict public health benefits and certain employment rights for illegal immigrants, starting next year. On Monday, Colorado legislators pbutted similar measures."

The article goes into substantial detail, including laws making it possible to litigate against employers (headed by those greedy-selfish parasite CEOs) of illegal aliens, and that people are tired of paying taxes that get spent on benefits being paid out to illegals. I've even heard from some other people that sometimes the illegals can get benefits in the US but legal citizens of the US who pay the taxes that get spent delivering those benefits to the illegals cannot get those benefits.

---- My

Your contention isn't the only contention out here.

We need to fight for a right to a decent wage and working conditions....and not let just the executives get bigger, fatter paychecks.

by

We need to fix the exchange rate so an Indian at a desk costs as much as a US guy at a desk, and all those jobs will come back overnight.

Fractional reserve banking. Its in all banking and finance books.

InFocus call center heading to India
InFocus call center heading to India Layoffs - The digital projector maker aims to improve customer service, but that will cost state jobs...

Also, lots of other paper-based instruments, stock market finagling, and fraud.

and that will convince you that nobody will invest wealth

Your Indian stock market took a big crash just a few weeks ago, and still has not recovered. Big decrease in wealth for YOU.

If the US govt demands

Taxes have been around for thousands of years.

-companies are within their rights to close down shop. If you

Company executives should share rather than be theives.

and go into loss, they

Then, you have all of your birthright high priviledge Hindus who want high paying jobs for just themselves, and let the 250 million Indian Dalits ("untouchables") go eat dirt and live in the sewers (oh, I forgot, you don't have any sewers over there, right?).

If they shift their companies to other countries,

Bunch of free jobs for India and you are not even thankful.
