Hightech jobs recovery Don't believe the hype 1681Nospam why do you skip my response? being allowed to do business in a country is a type of privelege for which politicians receive campaign finance, and the trebuttury gets taxes. If you want them to pay so much tax so that every american gets a hefty welfare check and universal healthcare -they will simply pbutt on the additional tax burden to the consumer, or pull out of the market altogether. Instead, you may want to opt for a lower living std which can be sustained by your productivity. If you aren't sitting on a sea of natural resources like oil, gold etc. -you will be forced to accept a std of living in line with countries where manpower is as productive as you are. There is no escaping that -no matter how you look at it. Taxes are usually collected in lieu of taxpayer funded infrastructure being utilzied to produce goods-services. If an importer gets goods produced overseas, he is going to use the infrastructure of the country where the goods are produced and consequently owes taxes over there. If you insist on taxing companies regardless of where goods are produced, it amounts to a tariff barrier. Other countries will retaliate against such tariffs btw the WTO talks collapsed, so you can breathe a bit easy). Hightech jobs recovery Don't believe the hype 1682 Kamal R. Prasad Because it didn't have any relevance to the point I was making. It is called bribe, and corruption is the main reason some countries...
kind of true. Free trade benefits corporations, their workers, their consumers -but seldom self-sustained rural communities. regards -kamal
