Because it didn't have any relevance to the point I was making.

It is called bribe, and corruption is the main reason some countries (India included) are leaving in poverty. A society as corrupt it is, as much poverty it generate. Increasing corruption bring poverty so this is the reason political bribery must be outlawed completely.

Indian BPOs have won the biggest outsourcing deals so far this year

Is not that simple Kamal. You commit the fallacy of believing globalists mythologies.

Let analyze your second part first, since is simpler: "or pull out of the market altogether". Well, the population need for a product or service is not going to decrease if a company get out of the market. buttuming the population have enough money to buy the demand stay the same. If the demand stay the same and the supply goes down (by having a company go away) the prices will start to grow. This generate opportunities for local businesses to come in and fill the void. Short: If a company leave other company will take his place. EVERY BUSINESS IS DISPOSABLE. But, if actions are not taken the company stay, but the jobs are moved offshore. The consumer disposable income decrease and while the need stay the same the population does not have enough money to to buy what they need. It is the clbuttical race to the bottom it was explained thousand of times on these groups so I don't rewrite it again here.

The first part is a bit more complicated, but the logic is similar. "they will simply pbutt on the additional tax burden to the consumer". Correct. We as 4% sale tax to finance university education, 6% sale tax to finance universal pension system and 5% sale tax to finance universal health care. Both Ford and Honda pay this 15% sale tax. However, Ford will get rid of the requirement to finance health care, pensions and will get highly qualified engineers. This will reduce the costs Ford have, therefore making them able to compete better with Honda. Honda will get this expenses cut of ONLY for the plants in US, therefore if they wants to take advantages of this incentives they have to create jobs in US and not in Japan.

In last 15 years the productivity grew with over 25% while REAL wages with only 9%. In last 5 years productivity grew constantly with a decent rate while the real wages declined.

So yes, there is a lot of support in productivity to fuel an increase in live level. The problem is that the money are looted by rent collectors. A smart taxation system will take care of that unfortunate event too.

With today's productivity this will not be the case if the corporate robbery is not allowed to increase. Keep in mind, the poor countries are poor not because they can not work or produce enough. But because of looted opportunity due to corruption.

O yeah. Stop robbery.

Most of advanced countries ALREADY DO THAT. This is the international norm in civilized world. US is the exception here not the rule. How can you retaliate for something the rest of the world already do from quite some time :-) Again, you read to much "free market" propaganda, and you got the time to believe it :-)

Workers are hurt due to increase in polarization. Look around the world, countries with big polarization betwen rich and poor are countries with disfunctional economies. A lesson to be watched closely.
