Oh, but let me tell you that there is a whole range of "anti-US" sentiment in the USA both from people born here and Kamal's "gate crashers" that want work here AND they want special favors given to them, too.

Now, I have learned that Arundhati Roy's opinion (I don't care if it is left or right) has a following and that there is a pretty big population in India that does not want "progress". YOu still did not say where you are from.

Not if I can find Indians who are willing to criticise their own country for anything at least as much as they criticise the USA for anything.

And, as a matter of fact, how about you realize that what you originally posted was ALL anti-US and zero anti-India. So, what kind of hypocrit are you? Did you quote (was it Roy's writing) what you added from ONLY her anti-US statements? Or, did what you add just come from someone else's anti-US statements.

I don't care if you like or dislike the USA. Just don't give a one sided view. And, for the record, Roy's book that I read really was 90% devoted to India's serious problems and I made these posts since we have some Indians (eg. Kamal Prasad) who only wants to talk about US problems. And, as if no one else has problems in the world. And, as far as her criticisms of the US that were mentioned in that book, I happen to agree with those criticisms of the USA. But, that is my preference; there are many people in the USA that agree with Bush about the war in Iraq. I was never in favor of that war. On the other wars, you can argue if you want.

Now, don't forget to tell me who you are and what country you represent.
