Yes indeed. I used to vote libertarian as an alternative to the Republican-Democrat parties in the US. But being an environmentalist it became an exercise in stupidity. Besides the environment there is the alluring fundamental Liberian notable of 'live and let live'. Fine and certainly noble as long as the culture and nation one resides in has a cohesion present for such an environment to flourish. One won't find too many Libertarians in Saudi Arabia for example.

Exactly. If every American was a Libertarian, then there would not be an illegal problem because the goodies would not be there. But that's not reality.

Many philosophies at their core have good intentions. But they cannot be applied to Humans simply because we as a species have flaws. Illegals and their culture are diametrically opposed in many ways to modern Libertarian ideals. So are muslims who would vote in an islamic state.

What you need to do is to put the burden on those supporting illegal immigration. Tell them that they must bare the responsibility of caring for them. That's when the Crickets start chirping.
