There is a lot of grey: The current plan out of the Senate is billed as having 3 basic sections:

1. Legalization of current illegals and a path to citizenship. It is currently understood that this new clbutt of worker can change employers at will and that they will pat FICA taxes and income taxes like everyone else. FINE AND DANDY

2. The border will be sealed such that no more illegal people will be coming in and both the workers and the employers will be penalized severely if they practice illegal works. FINE AND DANDY

3. The "quest worker" program that allows temporary workers to come here as sponsored by a particular overseer that will expect the robotic donkey to kiss the master's butt and accept $3 and hour lest he be put on the bus back to Mexico ---- NOT ACCEPTABLE

The same thing is true of H1B visas on the other end of the economy. The temp worker is sending American dollars home where they are worth a lot more than they are here. This is an unfair advantage to the "guest worker" and to those who hire them. If we need more workers then print some more green cards and make sure that these people can vote just as soon as they learn English and civics.

See above. The "immigrants" of which you speak were NOT temporary and they typically had families HERE as opposed to sending money to a family in Mexico or India.

You seem to miss the point. They will have the same expenses as I have and the solution to the medical problem is simple: Single Payer National Health Insurance. Given the vote these people will join the rest of the majority in this country in fixing this piece of cheese.

Here you describe the illegal temporary worker which will soon be the LEGAL temporary worker that will absolutely destroy American wages. There are two problems: Wage destruction caused by TEMPORARY workers, and medical costs out of control due to the lack of a single payer system. The temporary workers AND illegal workers are the cause of wage deterioration. The medical problem is simply exacerbated by the new workers legal or not. The solution to the latter is a single payer system and NOT a stopping of immigration.

Yet another rip off. These new people through no fault of their own place extra burdens on the educational system which should be paid by those who hire them. We simply need a better tax system if we are going to legalize all these people and if we are going to increase immigration quotas.

The typical "you're a racist" horsecrap is what I see from you. My objections are to the current tax system and the lack of sufficient social system for the new people, and the TEMPORARY WORKER programs.

It is the TEMPORARY crap that must be stopped. I will be pleased to compete head up with anyone who has the same expenses as I do.
