On summary: Countries which pay MORE THAN 2.5 TIMES LESS than US for health care are way way healthier than us. Infant mortality in US rival countries spending less that 5 times the amount of money in health care we spend.

And for that money they cover everybody. You complain that some persons have weeks to wait for a procedure that can be done at any time. But for 50 millions uninsured Americans the waiting period does not measure in weeks but in years. Over 18000 die each years as a direct result of not being able to afford health care, and you complain for a couple of weeks waiting. The waiting period for over 18000 Americans is over .... a life time.

Let face the reality. The private and not enough regulated health insurance system in US it is a lamentable failure, comparable with what we see into third world and not into a civilized country.

Correct. The problem is that into a globalized economy the most productive resources are NOT located anymore inside US. You can not put the gun on investors head to stop them invest offshore, but you can increase the tax on capital and dividends and use the collected money to invest at home instead of letting them into the pockets of shareholders which will invest them in Asia.

It have to be more that the income earned by working. You have to motivate people to work and create not to stay on sofa watching American Idol or other crap like that.

Sales tax have the advantage to level the playfield in case of globalization. If by sale tax you finance health care and pensions, this are payed both by domestic and offshore manufacturers, while domestic manufacturers will get away with fixed expenses for pensions and health care while the importer will just pay and don't get anything in return.

Sales tax is a strong incentive to produce home instead of going offshore.

By democratic elections you have some degree of controll over leaders. Over business leaders of a private corporations you as worker don;'t have ANY form of controll. Having controll over the rulers does not seems like slavery, not having controll over the (business) rulers it is slavery.

First, how in the world do you expect to fight globalization while supporting exactly economic incentives which encourage job offshoring (rax cuts, no sales tax, no social programs that allow a better playing field).

If you want to get a gun and gun down any CEO offshoring jobs, I doubt this will be a solution. Only by reforms into the economic system you can fight globalization, but you oppose them.

Second, globalization it is not a bad thing "sine qua non". It actually can be a good thing how long provide new opportunities to other people in the world.

If there is an Indian with the same IQ as me and who is more hardworking than me, there is no reason and is immoral to keep him with a smaller life level than me. I fully agree with that.

But, if an Microsoft employee have an IQ bigger that Bill Gates and he is at least as hardworking as BG, there is no reason and is immoral too for BG to be multibillionaire while he fire the employee to increase his wealth by moving his job to India.

If handled properly, globalization can be a good thing, but this imply it have to be driven so that it reduce the polarization betwen poor and rich and not to increase it.

It does not exist since an unregulated free market will naturally generate an world wide oligopoly, destroying the market "freedom". To prevent the formation of oligopoly you need to regulate the market, and this is .... non free.

But the "free market" crowd, use the myth of free market to push their agenda of creating an world wide aristocracy and transforming all the world into a newfeudalist society.
