I actually don't care that much about this specific issue, but I care about two major problems in the US: i) the rich getting richer as the poor get poorer, and ii) powerful CEOs taking jobs out of the USA and giving them away to not just people in India but anyone anywhere that increases their own pay and attempts to improve the company numbers because this takes money away from people in the USA who need the money to live. And, the H1B traffic is much much smaller than the "job export" traffic.

Well, I don't particularly care but is that 70% approval because India gets a lot of business from the USA or do they like our tough, war-monger president (I don't approve of the war in Iraq). After all, I have looked at a few Indian websites and see criticism (or, if you will, anti-US statements) of US economics (eg. our debt, spending, etc) or other US problems. Of course, I have to tell you that I spend a lot of time arguing with Kamal Prasad trying to get him to see some issues differently than he does. However, he likes to spend 99% of his time telling me about US problems and how the US should handle them, and about zero percent of his time on Indian problems and how India should handle them, but he is fine if US jobs keep coming but he doesn't care if the job is taken away from some US guy who needs to feed himself and his family but has to take a poorer paying job (I know many of them).
Basically, I don't care that much if foreigners want to come to the USA because life will be better, but we do have a serious problem with the Hispanics coming illegally and most if not all of them are uneducated, services and for a lot of these services are available to them but not US citizens!
