To get your child admitted at any relatively properly run school one must seek admisson at Nursery affiliated to the school and there pay hefty donation to the nursery. Beginning 9th standard (if not earlier) child must be sent to private tution clbuttes run by the teachers of the school. At 11th and 12th standard child has to be sent to the teachers' tution clbuttes outside school hours by paying very heavy fees for subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, if not for English. This corruption is due to the pre-1947 law that makes it compulsory for a pupil to come through a Government recognised school to sit at (Higher) Secondary School Certificate Examination the results of which qualify a pupil to enter Medical or Engineering College. A Government Recognised school is product of political patronage and receives government grants for paying teachers salaries and all maintainance. Indian middle clbutt which pays donations and private tuition fees is capable of running school level education without any government funds thereby reducing lots of running around by middle clbutt children to school and out of school hour tuitions. Middle clbutt will not force government to scrap the law because that will free public money to provide better educational facility for weaker section of Indian society and thereby uplifting whole of Indian Society.
