Indian business status: At the bottom of the list 1692

Here lets look again, and please pay attention to what I actually did and said. Quote: "I have grouped according to country." I did NOT say organized country groups according to the total revenue for the group. The BW article did list alphabetically. For the 25 listed companies, yes, India's total revenue for the group, is at the bottom of the list as well as the bottom group in my groupings. You guys need to read more carefully, and think more carefully.

from BUSINESS WEEK, July 31, 2006, page 43 an article "The Emerging Giants" all about MNCs, and how they are taking over the world. The article concentrates on non-US corporations.

page 43 shows a table of data from Boston Consulting Group which has identified 100 emerging-market companies that have the potential to reach the top rank of global corporations. The table lists 25 of these, what country they represent, and their revenues in $billions. The list is alphabetical by name. Below, however, I have grouped according to country.

As can be seen, out of "3rd world" countries, India is at the bottom of the list in revenue if not in revenue per capita. China would be at the top of the list.
