If you limit the choices that the people have to represent them to those you and your supporters have chosen, then you cannot lose. It will not matter for which "party" they vote because both "parties" are controlled by you and your very wealthy pals. They must suck you collective cranks or they will never have the means to fight negative ads that you and your pals can run against them. And you and your pals will DEFINE the issues and frame all the debate. The real issues such as wages and health care will never surface because the wealthy people will not allow it. And even if these "issues" become dominant they will find a way to line their pockets with any kind of government solution. The new pharmaceutical stuff for seniors is just the latest example. Things really started downhill in the 60's and then took a turn in a totally different and much more destructive direction in 1980.
