More socialism is needed in the USA. That may well mean that companies move themselves to another sovereignty. But when you look at the numbers you will find that US corporations currently do...

Yes, but what if money doesn't really buy elections? Do we have to go to the scoreboard here? My wrists are tired already.

One of the really charming things about phenomena like elections is their resistance to analysis - but they roll over quick to proof of *dis*correlation.

But if electability is shown to have no correlation with cost, then what?

It is more like *lack* of money *prevents* candidacy, but inelectability, but sufficiency doesn't imply election.

Kamal R. Prasad (then let them go and someone else will take there place, and we will make sure that they work for us...

money was not a constraint.

That's... really poorly informed. Sorry. It costs pretty much the same. The cost is driven by the order of magnitude, not +-- 100%.

I dunnno - 300k to 600k might be a critical region, but I doubt it. Most radio stations eithe reach 600k, or they simply no longer exist.

The last two presidents did not win on money. They won on demographic analysis as a tool of message targeting, by the lights of James Carville, then Karl Rove.

That *takes* money, but it is not the same thing *as* money.

If money matters in elections, then we shoud see nothing but billionaires by now.

Sorry - Ross Perot proved you wrong a long time ago.
