Simple answers: i) not so rich can't afford expensive stuff, ii) you fail to reconize that there are a lot that do NOT benefit from globalization when they get laid off, lose their careers irreversibly , and iii) have periods in their lives where they make no money, then make less. You also fail to recognize-remember that a lot of globalization is failing, not all globalization is working (see again this ================== The following quote is from Business Week, December 6, 2004 and from the article "Shaking up Trade Theory" by Aaron Bernstein on pages 116 to 120. (The subbreastle of the article is: "For decades economists have insisted that the U.S. wins from globalization. Now they are not so sure") They quoted Paul Samuelson (MIT) as saying "Comparative advantage cannot be counted on to create...net gains greater than the net losses from trade" ===================== But they DO keep all they make, try to make even more, and do not care what happens to peasants. Now, if you don't think they have a god given right to make a mint, what are you doing here trying to smooth over globalization when you should be focusing on HOW your country can improve itself without damaging the USA. No, but you focus on justifying globalization instead of the injustice of the have-have not situation. The decisions No, but you always try to smooth out the problems by an excuse dealing with (see above) stating facts and the law which benefit the rich. We had lots of people who gave rights and laws to benefit the people. I've told you about a lot of them. You keep forgetting this. And, I can subsbreastute "rich corporations" for "british rule," and get the basic same situation. If investor X finds he Yeah, he does. Its been going on for years now. if you get work done and pay unfairly (or not Its all in something you said long ago: the exchange rates. YOur country and my country set these and this benefits a few people, not all. But, I also disagree that OUR standard of living has to go down. 4-5 decades ago, we didn't have any of this problem. And, we had very few illegal aliens working for poor money.
