Better yet, where does it say America has to be number 1 and the Nation the envy of the world?
What promises settled this Nation? Jobs, farmland! Only less than 7% of the farm land is privately owned. Most of the Industrial jobs are leaving as are the service and professional jobs. I'm waiting for the net migration of Americans to countries that still believe one can better themselves by hard work. Why do we always have to hear what a wonderful place this still is from people born with a silver spoon in their mouth? Personally I think America is going down and as popular migration destination as Siberia in the decades to come. The trouble is many people know squat about history and their word view stops at the borders of the continental USA. They canŐt imagine the out come of a leaking boat until their hinnies get wet. So it is with the author of this article. Better turn away than do a wasteful thing such as spitting in the wind.
