Totally incorect. Products created offshore cost less. That is fine. The companies that offshore will soon lose their IP rights to compebreastors emerging in India and China. The time will come when the Indians and the Chinese will tell Bill Gates to stick it. Then we have trade and comparative advantage as it is supposed to be. No more "Gates gets rich while everyone eldse gets poor". H1B is the worst case becase it keeps IP monopoly in the USA which only serves to increase the disparity of wealth.

American employees contribute much, much more. And we need an buttet tax as opposed to an income tax. Then it matters not who "owns" the buttets.

Green cards are fine (this is based on the belief that the person is trying to become a US citizen, has his-her family here, and that the person can move from employer to employer).

Nonsense. The people they have put out of work would have circulated just as well.

But the bright side that far outweighs the bad is that Bill Gates will lose his monoplolistic advantage. India companies will eventually compete with Gates. Once that monopoly is busted Americans will individually step up to the plate and kick butt.

But you are simply saying, "Do away with H1B and expand the green card system". That is a good way to go.

There is a cerettain "justice" in unemployment as paid by the major corporations that do the offshoring. It is sort of like: "You can pay us to do the work, or pay us to play tennis. Choose, Turkey". With the price of commuting what it is, and if we had medical care, I could probably get along OK on unemployment compensation. The USA, you see, is the last bastion of protection for thre incurably greedy.

We need to REWARD competence and creativity as opposed to rewarding aristocratic pig prancing and butt kissing.

True, but H1B is still WORSE than offshoring. The result of the offshoring, which you are about to see, is that the rich people that are "investing" offshore aare going to lose their collective shirts as offshore people and offshore governments take ownership of the supposed "intangible" buttets. At that point the truly capable and innovative individuals in America will have their day.
