Now, the US chemical industry is moving out of the USOK, I admit that I extrapolated when I mentioned humidity, though it might not have been unreasonable. There are a number reasons why a combustion process is inefficient. When it starts, dirty exhaust can often be produced. One reason is that the air and-or fuel are too cold and so won't burn properly. Some of the heat that's initially produced is used to raise the temperature of the air-fuel mixture as it enters the combustion chamber, reducing the overall efficiency of the process. Later, when the process reaches steady-state operation, some of the exhaust can, in some systems, be used to pre-heat the air. Ideally, a combustion process uses only the oxygen in the air to react with the fuel, with the nitrogen (and other trace elements) only pbutting through. That means that the other components in the air (including, presumably, water vapour) will be heated, reducing process efficiency. Often, the stochiometric ratio for the air-fuel mixture is insufficient for the actual reaction. One reason for that is incomplete mixing of the air and fuel, leading to incomplete burning of that same fuel. A solution is to use extra oxygen, but the excess is, as with the other trace elements in the air, heated and pbuttes through the system. All of that energy is eventually going out the exhaust stack, completely unused. As for my mentioning albreastude, the difference in air pressure will affect how a combustion system operates. If one was to move to the coast from the prairies, and was driving a car, the vehicle will have to be re-tuned for the new location because of all these factors. I WILL NOT GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT I am a 47 year old American who lost my job to outsourcing,ä said Ken Boettger from Ellensburg, Washington. ãI have spent the last of my retirement and am at... I don't think that first hand The logistics would be rather complicated. One tanker would, say, be filled with fuel blended for a coastal market while another would contain fuel for, say, an inland location. Whoever's co-ordinating the transportation of the fuel to the respective markets would have to make sure that the right fuel goes into the right tanker. However
