Here is the deal...and relax... I understand and agree with your position 100%...however you ask why. Here is why.

The US govt bloated 80% beyond viable levels, paying civil servant retirements for ordinary police for instance over 100k a year.... that has over taxed the nation..so now we have a host of problems solved by buying oil with nearly worthless US currency... down in value at least 60% since 2000.

if we wish to keep buying oil with such funny money, those who sell it to us want to be able to get actual value in exchange, not paper dollars we print for a cent a piece... they want hard goods, real estate and a stake in income producing properites.... the also want a grip on US industrial production and in this case our ports so that if we intend to attack them we have to ship our stuff from those ports, where if things get nasty they can excercise some control.

those are the facts... right or wrong has nothing whatever to do with the facts as they stand. You ask about the facts.

If we wish to keep running the country on money we print by ship loads, we will have to give these people some place to invest it.... or they will simply run the price of oil up in accordance with our hyper inflation of it--thats the deal.

Now look....I realize fully that you may have been paying attention to the controlled press and social security pronouncements that we have low inflation in the US... thats spin, its pattently false, it is intended to keep the moral of US public up so the boat floats a bit longer.

We are hyper inflating our currency...if we want foreign goods cheap we will have to let these people buy our real estate, raw materials and infrastructure with it.

it is as simple as that.

We did it to ourselves with the help of course of seriously corrupted vested interests.. primarily vested interests that our republican president Dwight D Eisenhower discussed and warned about pointedly in his last day in office, 1963 I think. You can see the 'news reel' of the time..it is the opening sequence of the movie JFK by Oliver Stone..

Then you will understand, lacking that you will be influenced by the disinformation and spin presented...and that will blind you to rents, medical care, real estate, food, that have doubled in the last 5 years. You will point to the cheap lave labor TV's from china as evidence that real costs have fallen..

that of course is spin... where it counts the US govt has sold the american people out... entirely.. lock...stock...barrel... napkin, and tooth picks.
