Outsourcing America 3019
Hey Straydog, I follow the housing market pretty closely, and it looks like we're on the cusp of a fairly...

Of course Dubai is a Carlyle Group thing, and NED too, and CFR, stupid !

ON A RELATED TANGENT

.....yes, truly horrible what happened to those chaps in panama railroad-canal. and the french went in after the irish and carnagies and did mostly the same, to build the canal to show off to the world france's superiour engineering, in industrial compebreastion with England, USA, and Germany.

actually, we are not taught these things in school nor on NPR nor anywhere, so i am still teaching myself history at 51, but our railroad was built exactly the same way by the same bosses with the chinese peasants being supremely brutalized, along with native american indians bucks, in some respects worse than Panama, to build our coast to coast railroad. The mormon territory was their final hell on earth, approaching it from both coasts on the slave crews, where most of them died on or near the Great Salt Lake, left to rot in the sun as Mormons prayed to their god and ate giant feasts.

I read yesterday some historic rest certificates online from 1868 plus 1 that had been scanned into the net. Many Chinamen were crushed to rest between rail cars or pushed by irishmen or scotts into a closing coach door and amputated to rest, just out of malice. For about every 20 Chinamen treated thus, an american indian native died likewise, the same abuse with no protector or guardian or angel.

The Great Railroad frenzy of building started one week after the end of the Civil War, give or take a few days. Remarkable timing!

When the lure of opium did not trick overseas laborers to come to our shores or Panama's, the Gold Rush certainly did. That was one big swindle which another fraud who i dislike as much as Dalai Lama helped to perpetuate, Mark Twain. More Chinamen and Natives were liquidateed at the mines than even working on the railroad in those decades or torture and rest and pathos. Have you ever heard of a Chinaman or an Indian that struck it rich with a claim?

The average Joe or Jane today in our land, having no employment options here to speak of and too proud to admit it socially with the TV only showing well to do happy American consumers in all our media, SUCCESS, it is not so different going over to Iraq or Afghanistan today to be a rented or indentured soldier, due to joblessness here at home, or staying here and being only the 1 in 4 who gets the job at WalMart who absolutely needs it to survive and your chance is even less than an illegal immigrant--37% of ALL roofers state to state nationwide are illegal Mexicans now--the percentage may be even higher for well paid county-city road engineer jobs too.

The military and tech-intel contractors that run all our affairs today behind the scenes are the equivalent to the Carnagies and Pratts and Whitneys and Rockefellers and Schylers and the Benjamins and Rothschilds-Binghamptons, yes, it was pretty much neck to neck compebreastion among the WASP bosses and the Hebrew bosses during our Industrial Age.

It took the Irish mafia from the streets of NYC and Chicago to bring up the Irish to the same table, starting with Joseph Kennedy, and then we had parity, Catholics onboard the gravey train too!

Err KAL.... Hysteria doesnt work. Putting the cards on the table completely and in a non hysterical manner works. Putting the cards on the table with just a small bit of hysteria...

After the railroad building mania spent itself, our machine age kicked in with a ferocity that even overtook the old masters at it in europe. today the parallel is China, which is even more powerful today than the USA was in the 1880-1930 era; in less than five years the Chinese will be tripling the Eisenhower self satisfaction for the median household we had here in the 1950s with our easy home mortgages and mbutt produced consumer goods, and new concept suburbias, for everyone but blacks and native americans.

Here is an article from ICH Press "What you won't find on CNN" is their motto, below, by Charles Sullivan, that retells in a nutshell our own suppressed history here by reminding us of why-how our unions today are so corrupt and pathetic and only capable of selling us down the Yellow River they gouged an enormous price out of us all and our nation for having the moxey to fight with guns against the Pinkerton agents -- for the strikers, but mostly for the mafias -- if you looked at the NED website the other day as i had suggested, the National Endowment for Democracy, a CIA rogue operation that is now as official as the Peace Corp. and just as big, you would see that quite a number of their directors are former AFL-CIO leaders from the top national level, in bed with crook Bill Frist, HMO tycoon and Republican head of the Senate! ... take another look here and now ...

Razor Face read that line from Phil Scott which says the US is printing funny money...

-------------------------------- Charles Sullivan writes this week, an agitprop expert in West Virginia:

......Rise up and fight back against horrible tyranny and against impossible odds. There are many examples: Shay's Rebellion, the battle of Matewan, and the battle of Blair Mountain, the Ludlow Mbuttacre, the Haymarket Strike and, more recently, the race wars that culminated in the 1960s. Many of these struggles, conspicuously absent from our history texts, are connected to labor disputes, when workers were forced to organize and to strike for more humane working conditions, including the eight hour work day. Mbuttive strikes have played a significant role in the economic and social history of the U.S. Thus it is no coincidence that America has the bloodiest labor history of any industrialized nation. How a people react to oppression and injustice says much about what kind of people and, indeed, what kind of nation they are. In those responses is revealed the national character.

Hey, what newsgroup do you hang out on? I'm on SRC and I'm trying to cut back on the crossposts. On Wed, 8 Mar 2006, Gill...

Throughout much of our history, so inhumane and utterly deplorable were working conditions that workers frequently had to resort to the strike-a strategy that remains labor's most effective and underutilized tool to this day. In the past, companies routinely hired armed thugs to prevent workers from meeting and organizing unions. Despite the Consbreastution and the Bill of Rights, workers did not have the legal right to form unions until Roosevelt's 'New Deal.'

Belonging to a union could cost you everything. Not belonging to a union buttured one's fate as an indentured servant of the company. The notorious Baldwin-Felts Detective Agency has a long history of terrorizing workers on behalf of the company bosses. Intimidation, threats, beatings, lynchings and shootings were commonplace during the industrial revolution. Those who demanded the eight hour work day, better wages and the right to form unions faced grave and palpable danger. Organizers often lived short but intense lives. It required courage to stand up to the company thugs and to fight for justice. Those who did were called reds and communists by their capitalist oppressors.

Even though the workplace remains the site of gross injustice and tyranny, few of us today can image the atmosphere of oppression and intimidation that once prevailed. By the grace of courageous but otherwise ordinary individuals, workers organized themselves against company tyranny; and we gained the eight hour work day, the forty hour work week, the end of child labor, better wages, vacation from work and more humane working conditions. These gains were not given through the benevolence of the company bosses-they were won through enormous self sacrifice, obtained by sweat and blood, and often through armed rebellion.
