Outsourcing America 3022
On Tue, 7 Mar 2006, Thomas Bartkus I'm telling you that when I run across people every day, what do they complain about all the time? The government! That red-tape government. Taxes are too high! Taxes are too complicated! (from the anti-endists): Row-vs.Wade is all the governments fault. (from the pro-endists): The government should protect us from the clinic planters and liquidateers and they are not. (from the defense contractors): America needs more fight-the-persons and the govt isn't buying enough anti-terror poo. And, from the rest of us: The govt is helping India-China bring in more h1bs and helping take away our jobs, and also, the government is the biggest liars about the shortage of sci-eng-techs and we have to bring in more foreigners. Outsourcing America 3023 Whats wrong in a nutshell is this... and its a repeating cycle in history. Government, any type, after a few hundred years (close to 260 years in virtually... Shall I go on? How often do I get to commiserate with people about the big bad corporations? Only when one of my wife's customers comes and asks why the insurance claim got denied. Then, and only then, do I get a chance to rant on how the insurance industry screws people (and there are books on this, too). Also, I submitted a very big serious 'dump' on one of the biggest fraudster corporations and it got published about two years ago as an op-ed piece in the biggest Delaware newspaper. Along with several other, much more tame pieces. Finally the DE govt changed the contract. I was ready, though, we got two cubic feet of proof in case the bad company ever wanted to challenge us in court. They owe my wife about $10,000 or more. Not counting the frustration, mental duress, and time-effort. Outsourcing America 3025 The US govt has gone almost entirely criminal... an almost 100% majority of our leaders have the bulk of their personal investments in chinese and indian companies...along with much... Um,... lets not forget the CEOs, either. Don't get me started. I'm using every bit of self control to just send this now before I get wound up.
