The solution to the problem, that our founding fathers saw coming very clearly ....is a citizenry armed to the teeth.
That always works. Even now the French celebrate Bastile day.
Corrupt government knows this very well, that is why the citizens are always disarmed in the end... that extends the life of such govt another 40 or 50 years sometimes.... then the starved citizens rise up with whatever is at hand, rocks, cow dung...sticks...at whatever cost to life and limb, with nothing left to loose...

theaw storm the halls of government and abodes of the few remaining rich, eviscerate them and hang the remnants off of their balconies..... the ex civil servants starve to rest for lack of pay, detested by the citizens who will not help them..
.....the farmers get back to actual food production... in another 50 or 100 years the benefits of a re-established educational system take hold and prosperity returns...gradually, that transition takes a generation and a half.
that lasts at full tilt for about 70 years... then government, wishing to retire its vested interests (civil 'service' prominently in line for that) at age 51 ....with 5 million dollar annuities each, arranges that....
The US govt has gone almost entirely criminal... an almost 100% majority of our leaders have the bulk of their personal investments in...
the citizens can't produce enough to be taxed sufficiently to pay for that bloat, waste, insanity and rip off.... so per its long established habit, government begins seizing the buttets of working people.....including the means of individual production (currently illegal in the US but practiced none the less)....
thereafter only the corrupt survive... that cycle has a very short life span, under 20 years...(the US is deep into that span right now).... the nation rots from within, it is taken over or overrun by those it has alienated in the past...(currently in progress)
There is some comic relief... this final phase, unlike the earlier 240 years of the cycle, happens fast.... it is at least entertaining if one is positioned to survive the economic blood shed. (savings wont cut it)
This is why our muslim enemies look so dour most of the time..... they know that without self control they could laugh themselves to rest.... especially lately as they take over our US ports. Thats impressive. no?
Perhaps they'll start with the same rate as your W2, then you'll ask more and they'll offer a number halfway in between...
There was a world clbutt post to this NG a few months ago that I responded to on these banking issues..that is beyond the right wing...
You would think we would be brighter...but we are not.
The brain goes instantly corrupt with the first lie, then totally corrupt when the person tries to justify the lie... this starts very young.... then the person locks in the resultant idiocy when he defends the bogus sets of notions... in a corrupt situation its mostly all lies, one does not dig out of that.
Thats at the nexus of why nations collapse... they justify the lies that bankrupt the productive clbutt for one example.
actually there is one way out, which I discovered personally..
.its fast too...if not entirely easy. That is to seek out and discover the vast ranges of things that you think you know something about... then dig a little deeper and discover that you actually know almost nothing and most of that is in error at one level or the other.... then you can let all of that insanity go..
. insight will return.
but of course in a functioning culture...with a driving heirarchy in place, thats not easily tolerated.
Individually though it works very well.
