er... I included Egypt and Mesopotamia in my definition of 'Asia' and left out China to some extent. I meant eastern civilization -which includes Egypt and some other middle-eastern countries and excludes the orient aka Japan-China etc. -which are in Asia, but their traits are of a different kind . Most of the inventions known to mankind came from this 'eastern' region' -but the region went into a decline, and India for its part looks likely to come out of that.

yeah -you could say that. India fell to the mughals and then to the British mostly on account of infighting and corruption. Even today, corruption is rife and saps growth of the country.

Im not sure I understand you -but I do know that the US govt is in collusion with bankers and currency traders. It is less of a law-enforcing govt and more of a profit-making corporation.

yeah -that is a prospect that has severe implications for the country. But -we are witnessing something called 'planned urbanization' wherein people are being taken off agriculture to do services related work. It might relieve the land and water table of some pressure. Then there is birth control and education which helps stabilize population and there is urbanization wherein women are too busy pursuing their careers to have kids and they end up with 1 or no kids at all and possibly adopting from orphanages.

yeah -a meteor strike will probably trigger the emergence of a smarter species as the last one did. I don't know why zoos spend huge amounts of money protecting some species :-).

this notion of cycles being coded in our genes is a bit hard to comprehend. The 20th century almost did belong to the USA despite all of its cycles -and if it was not for the Iraq war, a major portion of this century would have.
