Me too, I'm sure there are hundreds if not thousands of such companies, but I doubt the model actually works well. Am a victim of such an incident. All positions on entire team eliminated, with the workers from India being moved to other teams while the Americans lose their jobs in the "restructuring". In addition, the company outsourced most of its development to Wipro. Now they have their own development office in India. The office where I used to work is vacant; the few remaining people had to move to the central office in another city. Most of the jobs in the USA are probably "suits" and sales whores.
