Yeah, it sure was fun: There were a LOT of interesting characters on ACC in those days, and many of them were actually computer consultants. Unfortunately, the "flood trolls" choked the board. I tried to get more guys to help me "counter spam" but too many of them thought that was censorship. The trolls would morph so much you couldn't even filter them out: Every day there were hundreds of posts from Your Special Friend, Outsourcing to India, etc... Again, I think that just demonstrates how stupid those guys (YSF, OTI, etc...) really are: They drove all the legit posters off the board, so there was no one left to read their trolls. Any newbie would see 1000's of off-topic brainfarts from YSF and not bother reading any further.

Anyhoo, it looks like my prognostication from 18 months ago is starting to come true.

Remember JJ? He compared offshoring to the "Yugo" and figured offshoring would go out the same way.

I agree that RK is a lot like Michael Douglas and "7". Guys like that don't last too long, it seems. I suppose they burn out on their own anger.
