Racial slur can't reverse business flow

has it ever occurred to you that the folks who run IT companies don't think like the above, OW India would have never taken off in IT.

I will give you an example. A friend of mine went back to India. He works for a company which is based in USA. In 2002 that company opened up a development centre in India with about 20% of employees. By 2004 they figured out:

(a) Indian employees are as good as their USA employees. (b) despite paying very well by Indian standards, they are still significantly cheaper than their American counterparts.

What did they did was to ramp up in Indian team in few months and in one fell swoop closed the USA development centre. It was done in such a secrecy that it even surprised the Indian team. Monday morning. Boom. All got the raspberry. Now all they have in USA is the sales, admin and high level Debt Management (including CTO etc). Rest they call as IT (India Team).

The company is very happy with this model and feels it works for them.

I am sure there are hundreds of more such companies.
