Curried Sanskrit, the secret of India's outsourcing success. Obscurity, linux
Those of us who are prefer functional and logic programming look at Sanskrit as the first functional logic language. After all, which other language has currying as a native word ? Currying in...

indiaBPOking

So is English, indiaBPOking.

ABSTRACT DATA TYPING

E.g., "A large, vegetarian quadruped, with a small tail at one end, and a long and powerful prehensile trunk at the other".

POLYMORPHISM

"The Duke's entourage contained a miscellany of cars, trucks, RVs and even a motorcycle-and-sidecar combination. Some vehicles were faster than others, but, perforce, the ensemble could move no faster than the slowest".

There are several different types of vehicle but I referred to them, when discussing their speed, through the abstract superclbutt "vehicle".

INHERITANCE

He's a chip off the old block.

Etc.

DATA-HIDING

"I am not, indeed, sure whether it is not true to say that the Milton who once seemed not unlike a seventeenth-century Shelley had not become, out of an experience ever more bitter in each year, more alien sic to the founder of that Jesuit sect which nothing could induce him to tolerate." Professor Harold Laski (Essay in Freedom of Expression )

Actually perhaps that should be 'encryption' :-)

What's the structure of Sanskrit like? I mean, German has a well-defined structure which seems pedantic to English speakers, but leads, I believe, to clearer expression. Is Sanskrit well defined like German?

I found a page on Sanskrit Any good?
