Surprise, surprise Pentagon is suprised. 2213
Nospam Manpower shortage to affect IT sector: Infosys 2216 Most schools in India are managed by charity and religious organisation. After Independence schools run directly by government reduced drastically. Only schools that have come up... There are left-leaning countries like India-Britain-France-Germany etc.. and poverty is the prime driver of the leaning. The tag of communist state is a superficial religious tag. You may want to check if the state is left-leaning or right-leaning instead. and that proves my hypothesis that poverty breeds leftist ideology. yeah -the cold war was the reason why countries had to fall into exactly 1 of 2 buckets. It can be advantageous if done correctly. Left-leaning countries usually experience high taxation, low disparity of wealth (unlike the US), low inflation, greater housing affordability etc.. and at times high literacy rates. For that, they need to keep corruption in check. Surprise, surprise Pentagon is suprised. 2214 Kamal R. Prasad I was talking about extremism. No extreme left or right is ever going to provide a successfull society. To keep an extreme ideology (left or right) on the track you will... The World Bank has estimated that neoliberal globalization has created 200 million newly poor people hey straydog, when i read this, it gave me a whole new thought on how our downfall from the disease known as...
Who believed that profit-making companies will cease to work for-profit? Why don't you look at things from the investor's point of view. An investor takes a loan-raises funds somehow to start a company. Why will he do so if there is no profit at the end of the tunnel? Does the investor owe you jobs or is he raising capital to fulfill a social contract? Was it ever the case sans globalization? This is not about political ideology. It is just econ 101 if you didn't know. Yeah - they have some distance to cover before they become a fully functional democracy. You are referring to corruption as actual control. Lawmakers and lawbreakers are usually hand in glove -but the moot point is whether people get to choose their own set of lawmakers. Then they don't need to worry about the coming mid-term elections, which many analysts say will cause serious losses to the GOP. Have you checked how pessimistic republicans appear to be -as reported in your own media?
Yeah -as inflation catches up, countries lose their comparative advantage. But there is still a lot your govt can do in terms of changing monetary policy to put you in a better position. Likewise, you need to locate behind your shoulder how good professionals in other countries are -and what their living stds are, to verify if your expectations are in line with market forces. All of this is possible if you overcome the psychological barrier that jobs belong to the country or wealth originates in the country or your bill of rights enbreastles you to a sumptous salary- and but for corrupt politicians you would have been living a prosperous life. It removes barriers to compebreastion -and it leaves it to the concerned govt to ensure that the citizenry can survive the compebreastion. I have some good news for you -Bernanke has formulated most of his views around the great depression and wants to make sure that doesn't happen again. And yet, you think he is headed in that direction??? Maybe you need to create a new legal enbreasty called "global corporation unaffliated with any country where it operates". Neither will they claim any taxpayer funded benefits nor will people of any one country expect undue favours from them. Which is what I wrote above. It removes barriers to compebreastion -but does not rationalize things for any given set of workers. No -Im not confused and there isn't anything awesome in your post to get my head spinning. regards -kamal
