There arer probably five or six "liberal friends" (which are no real freind to real liberals) in the entire congress. Yet somehow you still manage to blame them for the illegal immigration problem. That takes a lot of plugging up one's eyes, ears, and nose.
There is not much to be done about outsorcing but that the management of the company should be outsorced right along with the jobs. If Gates wants to take advantage of cheap Indian technoids then he should move to India. I'll go down to the dock and throw flowers as he and his management team sail away. Current outsorcing and H1B crap is exacerbating the wealth gap and making the middle clbutt poor while making the rich still richer. There should be no illegal immigration and no H1B and the owners of foriegn labor pools should be paying huge taxes. The last shot would be to encourage them to move out of the USA. Then the rest of us would be a lot better off. The tax code and the H1B quotas shoukld be restored to 1978 status when the rate on uneared income over what would now be about $900k would be 80% and the working poor paid much less in FICA tax then they did in income tax.
