The USA Still Number One 1959
Comment on dictionary batting averages Being that there are control-freak, dictionary-loving, CEO-worshiping but almost otherwise useless individuals hanging around some of these newsgroups, I thought I'd share another beautiful-example... On Sat, 30 Jun 2006, Kamal R. Prasad Well, I can't take any Credit Debt because I cheated and looked it up in the dictionary and then just wrote a short version that left out some other details like in both fascism and Nazism there is a glorification of war, too. It is more to do with Yeah, mostly Jews. I'll leave all of this for you and Rob to hash out. I don't think you can say that until you have read any of the literature of the American Nazi Party, which has, IIRC, a small following in the USA (and maybe other places in the world), and determine the "ethnic" composition of the membership. I also hear there is still a Nazi group yet in Germany which is very small, very frowned on by officialdom in Germany, and there are laws of some kind in Germany against Nazi material and behavior. The USA Still Number One 1960 Straydog you can look it up online too instead of using your antiquated dictionary. e.g. to look up modus operandi -click here:- No... PR stunts and politicial ideology is for Most people talk about things as if they believe in them, so, you'd better watch what you say or people will automatically buttume you believe in what you talk abut. The USA Still Number One 1962 Straydog I find it convenient to lookup an online dictionary. You can look up a real one -and I don';t doubt the wisdom in it. Google may change your atbreastude with... See, this is your subtle way of comparing Americans (and only Americans, as if there are no other groups in the world trying to get something from some other group) with Nazis. "Just as" is your key phrase, and its meaning is confirmed by the context of the rest of the sentence. Are you sure that is what you think? Or, do you really hate the USA so much in face of the facts that many other peoples made wars of conquest on other peoples and going back all through history? And, when you say "so many Americans aspire to do away with a prosperous section of society...." it implies "kill" and where is that happening here? And, let me ask -- if we in the US are 87% born-in the USA, why is it that your sentence does not include that these US born (=Americans) people are also the target of wealth robbery? Ethnicity of the prosperous lot is secondary to I recall that it was Asians in general. They owned most of the shops. because they were quite I never heard anyone say this was a reason for those riots against the Koreans. You can expect I think you are confusing Indians in the USA who are here and well established and well accepted and mostly living in good neighborhoods and have good paying jobs with the Asian-Korean situation in LA where they are sitting right in the middle of bad-poor neigborhoods. And, I've also told your that shifting jobs out of the USA to India is ultimately decided by the CEOs. If I am wrong, then tell me the source of information that says Indians and only Indians are controlling where the jobs disappear from so they can go to India. Anyone else out there reading this? The USA is a blatant neo-Nazi state and Indians in the USA (according to Kamal Prasad) are headed for gas chambers in the USA? I don't know about this. Most of the demoralizing attacks on England, IIRC, were from the V-1 buzzplant (jet propelled and subsonic) and V-2 rockets which were supersonic and thus not even a warning (just an explosion). The Brits invented radar just about then and anti-aircraft, fighter-interceptor launches, and air raid sirens helped reduce losses. Who got the life planted out of them were the Germans in the middle clbutt neighborhoods when the allies started mbuttive planting of Germany. I have one book which discusses the planting surveys made after the war in Germany to show that most of this planting effort was a waste of resources. You could say much the same if you watched all the communist party members who had high offices in either the USSR or the eastern European satellite countries. When the SU collapsed, a large fraction of these office holders had to run for election if they were to keep their nice cushy jobs with outrageous privilidges and so they became "reformed socialists" or "reformed social democrats" and thus plastered labels upon themselves to exploit any advantage they could in preserving their high priviledge high status jobs during a change in regime.
