the fact that an employer can get an illegal arrested if he doesn't do a good job -is a case of him not havign civic rights. the fact that employer can have a work permit cancelled and have a person deportd at 24 hrs notice is a case of laqck of civic rights. Whom the employer employs is a function of what value a person brings to the table. if you don;'t bring value -then the employer would not be interested in hiring you. To say that he has to give you a job or a fat salary is to say that you have rights over his capital. if your services are not compebreastvely priced -your elected represenatives cannot force the employer to hire you.

they forfeit their civic rights when they land in the USA. Illegals have no rights to be present in the USA and can stay as long as law enforcement wishes them to whch is as long as they do a good job on the work front. I dont need a work permit to stay in India -and do anything I like. the moment I land in the USA -my employer controls how long I stay. There is also a lack of freedom of speech for foreigners more so if they are coloured. You cannot expect a work permit holder or illegal to make the kind of statemenrs I do sitting in India.

I would say "either don;'t let them work in the USA or let them work on equal rigts only". Choose your option and live with it. If you think they will be a burden, don;'t let them work in the USA and the question of you benefitting from cheaper services will not arise for anyone to accuse you of practising slavery.
