There is social bigotry in every country -but I am talking of legal provisions and more importantly the desire of americans to make it legal to retain illegals but not change their status to legal. If you don;t want them in your country -just make it illegal for employers to hire them. If hispanics were rich enough to vacation in the USA (with no source of income to cover their survival expenses) -they wouldn't bother to gate crash. Since they aren't -you can be sure they will go away to where their survival instinct takes them.

The it industry is always on the lookout for cheap labour -but the Indian consbreastution does not allow businesses to hire captive labour. All labour -whether educated or not -immigrant or local -is 100% free in India. The same is not true of the US -where lawmakers tailor their laws to suit their financiers and 1 of the requirements of financiers is to ensure foreign manpower remains in the shadows and does not have equal rights as citizens. It benefits businesses no doubt -but it also benefits the citizenry and the question you need to ask yourself is whether you want that benefit or not? if the answer is yes -then you are an advocate of slavery.

If you have 2 parties as in the USA -it is like pepsi & coke and nothing else. Both parties are like 2 corporations and it doesn't matter whom you choose. As long as the interests of the lobbyists remain the same -the decisions will also remain the same. In India, we have more parties and lots of parties that don't see eye to eye and some see eye to eye on some. It means, there is lots of push-pull but seldom a shift to the extreme right or extreme left -which is what is good for the country.

No -I just said (and its a problem drilling wisdom into your head ) that what is not yours cannot be used for public good. If you want to reduce unemployment -either you need to compete for jobs in the private sector or ask govt to help people out with taxpayer money. Telling the compebreastion to jump into the sea or forcing investment bankers to part with their wealth for the good of the american public is not do-able.

USA ever did. I also have to look up that reference and cite the source to the vast amount of killings and wars in Asia that go way beyond what we, in the US, usually are taught about major wars. -

yes -Islam did the greatest damage to Indian culture but it did so for all other cultures east of the holy land, totally destroying them. The invaders were instructed to destroy indigenous cultures -but they endded up enriching indian culture with pre-islamic culture from their lands (persia-babylona-turkey etc..). The damage is also the reason for hindu-muslim divide. In the present century -it hasn't done much damage and you need to have different benchmarks for different periods of time i.e. people were not so advanced earlier and what seems barbaric today was the norm a few centuries back.
