it's wonderful to find that everyone everywhere is so open minded and non judgmental.

I just watched Call her savage from 1930 with clara bow. It's not as evil as you'd think, either, in dealing with multi-ethnic kids. the little girl only finds out in the final scene of the movie who her "real" father was, & she's talking with her childhood friend (who had always accepted his place as "half-breed", and she says, "Now I understand....and I'm GLAD, I'm GLAD." (a good counter-balance to the underlying theme of the whole movie, which is Indians are genetically WILD, even if not raised Indian). Pretty surprising for 1932, though it is also counter-balanced by a bit of religious bullpoo in the very beginning, proclaiming "God is a jealous god, and will punish the children for 3 generations for the sins of the father." (her grandfather was denounced in just the way Pat Buchannan claimed the 911 attacks were to punish America for gay sins; he was accused of causing a deadly Indian attack because he was fooling around "with a hussy" in the back wagon while his wife & kids were alone up ahead).

clothing is definitely a superior way to judge people, much better than that sins of the father stuff, instead of numbers of generations, we'll use the golf handicap.
