Am I to infer that you think everyone else is a saint-angel?
Maybe you have a reading disability? Did you miss the part where I said "Obviously, there will be tendencies in personality traits", which in fact is what all the articles you cite are talking about? By "like others," I meant in the ranges, such as the examples I gave.

I'll take that as an answer in the affirmative.
Such absolutes must make it easier for simple minds to deal with the complex world around them.
I have no problems with the facts you cited, and see no need to discuss them. You may WANT to discuss them, but that doesn't mean they support your position. They show some really bad apples, and far too many of them. I object only to the simple-minded extension of these far too prevalent examples, and statistical studies showing bad tendencies, to all individuals in the group.
No. The people I know well and the impressions I have of some others that I don't know as well are enough to convince me of the error of your extension of statistical data to every member of the group. But if I were to generalize to conclude that there were no differences between CEO's and "just ordinary people", I would be doing something just as stupid as what you are doing. If I didn't know any members of the group in question, I might find such naive generalizations comforting, but I hope I will never slip down to that level. -- Alex -- Replace "nospam" with "mail" to reply by email.
