Nope. It is a reality and it happen as we speak.

US exports jobs and imports poverty.

The globalization is not bad in itself, it can actually be very good. What is bad it is the way it is driven. And it is driven by pathological greed.

Correct. But this is not due to globalization itself, but due to the fact that we do not have a system designed to cope with globalization. US it is left behind due to an obsolete system not really reformed from FDR's times. We need reforms, but the fanatic radical right crowd oppose anything.

The problem is that in Washington, money talk. The large corporations already hijacked the democracy and they push for their agenda: "RIP & RUN economics" or as they call it "supply side economics".

The schema is simple: Globalization it is used to force lower wages so they can grab more as proffits, it is also used to force out of business small companies so they don't have to much compebreastion, tax cuts are used to artificially bust up the prices for real estates and stocks pumping a huge amount of virtual money into consumption and sending population in debt.

In the end, the economy melts down. All good jobs are lost, the virtual money from home equity are gone but the debt is there. Due to lack of demand the prices of houses will collapse at less than half. With low wages and houses worth somewhere around 30..50% of the original value, the former middle clbutt won't be able to pay the mortgage. The foreclosures will let them without houses and all this huge housing parks will be bought by the corporations for cheap.

In the end, the middle clbutt is decimated, working for wages comparable with those in China and India. 80% of the US population is sent in poverty and all the housing parks and land is owned by a handfull of superrich multinational corporations. Practically, people are serfs on the owner's property: NEO-FEUDALISM !!! The golden dream of libertarian-republican elite.
