Globalization + Lack of Social programs = Disaster

This is exactly what I keep telling on these newsgroups for over 3 years: There is a choice to be made by US.

1. Do globalization AND implement universal health care, universal pension system, free university education, longer unemployment benefits and tax financed research centers to incubate small high tech businesses.

2. Stop globalization AND keep the system as it is now.

Unfortunate, we have a crowd of mentally insane radical right wingers having the power. This idiots never worked for a living, they are just rich businessmans who believe that they deserve to get richer just because they are rich already and they are ready to lie, cheat and loot for that.

US will not survive in a global economy with current way of doing things. But a gang of looters oppose any reform attempt. In this condition, the option 2 is everything that is left on the table.

And I agree, this is not good as a smart driven globalization. But the pathological greed of the superrich and CEO's who's brain was never used for thinking is hard to defeat. They are like a chicken jumping on the top of cornpile and believing that all the corn is for themself. In the process of feeding frenzy they throw 80% of the corn to drain, but they are happy because NOW they are on top. Tommorrow: Doomsday for everybody else.

It is going to get nasty with this libertarian ideology of greed + globalization.
