So, it goes back to the real issue - greed, and want. So, now that you have defined what drives 99% of business (by the way, greed can be about fame, not just money, so you've got the holy-rollers covered too) is making money.
Moving things outside your own geographical area to utilize cheaper resources, and people can be resources, is about greed. There is one other issue, once you start reaching the "World" you have to compete with others outside of your area or they will be able to undercut your prices by utilizing that cheaper resource pool, so now you're back into greed again - if you want to make money you need to compete, so you have to determine your compebreastion level and their resource pools.....
