DVD burning test results 734

Found this on the net or you should go to Dell Talk and ask the question. As said by others try the DVD + disks;

"hi new to this fourm, just got a dell and it came with a phillips dvd+rw dvd8601. and i cannot find anything about it not even on phillips web site or the net or dells site. the guy at the dell store said it was new duel layer but the firmware for the duel layer would not be out till later this year. does anybody know of this drive any info is aprisated top" Elementz Inactive "I received the same burner with my Dell Dimension 8400.
