Delete recordings from HDD
If I turn the external unit off, dishrip will not see the recordings. This is a 40GB HDD Maxtor 54098H8; my computer shows a 38.1GB Drive with 38.0 space free. Diskeeper shows capacity 39,079MB 39,013MB free space. 99%free
Yes they are there because if I run dishrip I get activity light on the unit and it will rip the program to my PC. I do not know what the compression of the displayer recordings are but the drive shows 66.2MB of used space. One two hour movie from the drive is 1.88GB I just ripped it from the drive and there are 11 more hours of recordings. I have searched by file name and no clues there either.
Dishrip says "found recordings at HDD 3 and that is the one from the Dishplayer.

I have shut off my first Firewire external unit, and removed the second drive from this external unit leaving only the old Dishplayer drive in, and it sees the recordings and will rip them.
There should not be enough room on a 40GB drive for almost 12GB of recordings and 38.0GB of free space.
