Dell Rebate Hbuttle to rest 1706no cross-posting please, this reply only to alt-sys-pc-clone.dell where is was read... more worthless dribble... article one about a guy who threw out the box for his cell phone before removing the upc bar code and completing his rebate form. doi. article two about rebate complaints on the rise and quote an ftc staff attorney that "Only a very small percentage of complaints ever wind up at this level." article three is actually just a posting from a individual on a message board who complains about a cell phone rebate scam often used by shady resellers of brand name cellular phone services where they require you submit the rebate between only the 180th and 210th day of service. he admits not getting a receipt of mailing from the post office (in fact he doesn't seem to know what one is). all three articles reflect consumer greed and laziness. if you aren't the type of person that can follow instructions then you should avoid rebates by all means. but for those buyers that have common sense and deal with reputable companies a lot can be saved with rebates because over a third of the buyers never claim rebates, hence allowing them (not the manufacturers) to subsidize the smart shoppers purchases. Dell Rebate Hbuttle to rest 1707 when you don't get paid your rebate it is certainly easier to buttume that you are the victim of a scam than to...
